Hey! I'm Eddie and I'm the mature guy here at the shelter. Some may call me a "senior" but I don't think that's a bad thing. My estimated birthday is 7-29-00. I'm a low key, mellow, and lovable dog. My past is a question, but I had it kind of rough before I was brought into the shelter. I was full of ticks, had dirty and matted hair, and was super skinny. That has worked in my favor though because I was treated for the ticks, given a bath and hair cut and the best part is that I get canned dog food twice a day. They say it's to get my weight back up, but I know it's because they love me so much.
And really, what's not to love? I like everyone that comes to visit me. And if you take me on a leisurely stroll, I'm so happy to just wander around outside. Even though everyone at the shelter has been good to me, I would still like to have a home of my own. If you have a quiet household and would like a companion, then I'm your dog! Ozzie is male Border Collie/Springer mix with a docked tail that came in as an owner surrender. His owner couldn't care for him any longer and surrendered him over. Ozzie in only about 5 months old and is still in need of the basic obedience work and some potty training. Being young and smart means this guy has alot of potential. Jockey was found running as a stray and was never claimed. After waiting at an animal control facility for several weeks, Jockey was transfered to Catkins, where he is loving life in foster care! Jockey loves to follow his nose, often to gopher holes, and try to dig up anything interesting he may find. Jockey is a also a big fan of fetch, but not so much the bringing things back part of the game. He's more a run and grab the toy and run around with it kind of guy! After he's all tired out from spending time with his people or other animals, Jockey loves to go for car rides to settle down. We're still getting this handsome man medically up to date, but he will be neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and 4dx tested this week and ready to head home soon!

Combining Hans' behavior and looks, we're thinking he's probably a
Beagle/Spaniel (likely Springer Spaniel) cross. He has a delightful and very puppy-ish personality, and loves to play with other dogs regardless of their size or age.
Here's what his new foster mom says of him:
He loves to be around people and other dogs. He's completely house trained, is very smart, sits on command and likes to entertain himself by playing ball when no one here else wants to play. Hans is also just as
