Russell Louis Tucker — In Memoriam
February 4, 2015
Russell Louis Tucker was born in Abilene, TX, on March 4, 1958. He moved to Arlington at age 11 and graduated from Sam Houston High School, class of 1977. He developed his talents as a designer working with exclusive trade showrooms specializing in interior design and decoration in the Dallas Design District area. Russell moved to Los Angeles and continued his design career.
After a short time in Indiana, he returned to Texas where he and his partner John Winchell owned and operated a successful family business for 12 years. He was an outgoing, warm, generous and loving son, brother, uncle and gentleman, doting on his family, nieces, nephews as well as his beloved English Springer Spaniels Maddie, Maggie, and Madison.
Russell is pictured here with Madison when just a pup. To honor his love for Springers, Russell's family has suggested that donations be made to English Springer Rescue America, Inc. in lieu of flowers. We truly appreciate the opportunity to honor his memory in this way.
