Gene Montandon — In Memoriam
May 9, 2014
Gene Montandon, a resident of Danbury, Wisconsin, passed away on May 9, 2014 at the Veterans' Administration Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is pictured here with his first Springer, Annie. It was this dog that gave his family a love of Springer Spaniels. After Annie passed away, Gene got Max from ESRA — Max was supposed to be a foster dog, but he turned out to be a permanent member of the family.
As a tribute to Gene's life and his love of Springer Spaniels, ESRA is honored to keep Gene's memory alive through donations toward the work that we do to help rescue Springers throughout America. We appreciate the family's suggestion that donations be given to ESRA in lieu of flowers.
