Florida has had a chance recently to learn about a very rare condition in a Springer puppy JERRY was diagnosed with something called a Dermoid Sinus which a vet who has treated many dogs with his condition over his 20 year career admitted he had never seen in a Springer! Jerry has undergone surgery to correct the problem and is recuperating well. He's now looking for sponsors to help ESRA pay for his expensive surgery. Our ESRA Seniors are very special to us and ROOKIE is a prime example of why. Rookie was adopted from ESRA as a pup and lived ten happy years with a loving family who took great care of him. Unfortunately they had to move away and could not take Rookie so he's looking for another special home where he can share his golden years. (There's an added incentive to bring Rookie home if you are eligible for the Springers for Seniors program.)

We have a special section called Extreme Makeovers that features some of the beautiful Springers who have blossomed under ESRA's care and who, after overcoming hardships, neglect and abuse, have gone on to happy Forever Homes.
